Great to be here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Amber Newman<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Very well, thank you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rich<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> You\u2019ve got such a great domain name \u2014 Phone.com \u2014 so it\u2019s pretty clear you\u2019re in the telecom space. Ari, can you tell us more about what your company does?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ari<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Sure! Phone.com is a business phone service provider, focused specifically on small businesses \u2014 from sole proprietors up to teams of 10 or 20. We do have larger customers, but our sweet spot is the very small business community. Our service is largely self-provisioned and comes packed with features. We\u2019ve been doing this for over 17 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rich<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> I\u2019ve seen you at nearly every IT Expo in South Florida \u2014 always showing up, except maybe once during COVID. So you\u2019re definitely active in the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ari<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Yes, absolutely. We\u2019re strong supporters of the show and the broader community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rich<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Amber, tell us a little about your background. How did you get here?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Amber<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> I&#8217;ve been in the VoIP space for nearly 20 years \u2014 starting with M5 Networks, which eventually got acquired by Shortel, then Mitel. I&#8217;ve worked with a few other companies that were also acquired along the way. It\u2019s been amazing to see the evolution of business communications, especially for small businesses \u2014 which is where my passion lies.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Introducing ProSIM<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Rich<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> You\u2019ve got a big product launch \u2014 tell us about it. Ari, what\u2019s the new product?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ari<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It\u2019s called ProSIM \u2014 and it\u2019s our next-gen offering that integrates UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) with native mobile phone service. Instead of relying on a mobile app for business calls, which many do today, ProSIM gives you a second, fully functional business line on your native mobile dialer. Amber can break it down even further.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Amber<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Absolutely. This really solves a major pain point \u2014 the hassle of using two phones or relying on mobile apps, which often don\u2019t perform well in areas with weak Wi-Fi. ProSIM enables users to make and receive business calls directly through their native dialer, using an eSIM \u2014 no apps needed. It separates personal and professional identities and maintains UCaaS features like hold music, auto attendants, call recording, and HIPAA compliance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Why ProSIM is a Game-Changer<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Rich<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Why was there a need for this solution? They rely on mobile apps to separate the two, but those apps aren\u2019t always reliable \u2014 especially for frontline workers who are on the go. When you make a call, your dialer lets you choose between SIM 1 (your personal line) or SIM 2 (ProSIM). The phone remembers your last choice, so it\u2019s super smooth. Texting works the same way. Just use your normal messaging app, select the SIM, and go.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Who Is ProSIM For?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Amber<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ProSIM was built for deskless workers \u2014 the backbone of small businesses. Our customers don\u2019t sit behind a desk all day, and they can\u2019t be forced into using complicated apps. This solution is intuitive and seamless \u2014 no extra steps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ari<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> We\u2019re seeing early adoption already \u2014 healthcare workers, traveling sales teams, and other mobile employees. It\u2019s HIPAA-compliant and gives the business full control of the customer relationship by keeping the business number in-house.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Pricing &amp; Availability<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Rich<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> What should people know about availability and pricing?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ari<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> You can sign up now on<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.phone.com\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.phone.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. You need a basic Phone.com account to get started. The first month of ProSIM is free, and after that, it\u2019s just <\/span><b>$10 per month<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Existing customers can simply add it to their plan.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Other Considerations<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Rich<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> What about coverage and compatibility?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ari<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Currently, ProSIM runs on the <\/span><b>AT&amp;T network<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, covering 96% of the U.S. If your main line is on Verizon, ProSIM actually gives you a second carrier option. We\u2019re also looking into unlocked vs. locked phones \u2014 and providing educational support to guide customers through setup.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Amber<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> And yes, Wi-Fi calling will be available soon. In the meantime, if you&#8217;re in a dead zone, you can still fall back on our app. But most of the time, ProSIM will just work on your native dialer without any additional steps.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Final Thoughts<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Rich<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This has been fantastic.
