Starting with the iPhone 12 lineup, Apple brought the Ceramic Shield. It is basically a highly strengthened cover glass infused with nano-ceramic crystals boasting four times better drop protection compared to previous iPhones. In fact, the glass is manufactured by Corning, the maker of Gorilla Glass.
To further emphasize the Ceramic Shield’s durability, Apple today released a video advertisement titled ‘iPhone 12 Fumble’ flaunting how mishap-friendly the glass on the iPhone 12 series actually is. The advertisement has the classical Indian music section synced with the stumble of the iPhone, which is quite hilarious. See for yourself!
