Apple’s latest and greatest wearable is here with noticeable upgrades. The Apple Watch Series 7 comes with a larger display that stretches to the edge of the watch. The bezel at the front of the watch has been reduced by 1.7mm, which is impressive. The display here is 20% larger than that of the Apple Watch Series 6 from last year. Battery life is retained at 18 hrs, however, charging is now 33% faster compared to the outgoing model.

The Watch Series 7 is now more durable than ever, thanks to a stronger front glass crystal. It is water-resistant up to 50 meters and now gains an IP6X dustproof rating for the adventurous out there, WatchOS 8 runs on the Watch Series 7 with the update rolling out to other Apple Watch users on September 20 for iPhone users on iOS 15 and later.

Starting at $399, the pre-orders start on October 8 with availability slated for October 15. The Series 7 will come in aluminum, stainless steel, and Titanium builds. It comes in 41mm and 45mm configurations. Apple hasn’t specified a clear release date for the Apple Watch Series 7. The Series 6 has been phased out with the lineup now consisting of the Watch Series 7, Watch SE for $279, and Watch Series 3 for $199.
