The Cupertino giant Apple updated their entry-level iPad for the 9th gen with improvements in key areas with regards to better usability and processing power. The 2021 iPad bags in the A13 Bionic chipset which is still fast enough today and give tough competition to other platform devices. And yes, this iPad retains the same old (but outdated) signature Apple design with thick bezels up top and bottom. With that said, Touch ID is here residing in the Home button at the face of the new iPad 9th gen.

As for the display, we have the same 10.2″ from the previous iteration, however, True Tone makes it to the budget iPad this year. The front camera has also been updated to a new 12MP unit complete with the Center Stage feature to keep the subject in the limelight. Storage too has been doubled at 64GB as opposed to 32GB previously. iPadOS 15 come pre-installed with the same being available to other iPad models on September 20.’
