iOS 15.1 Beta 2 brings ‘Unlock with Apple Watch’ fix for iPhone 13

After a week of releasing the first beta of iOS 15.1, Apple brought out the iOS 15.1 Beta 2 to developers and public beta testers on Tuesday. The update, according to 9to5Mac fixes the ‘Unlock with Apple Watch’ bug that affected iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro upon launch. Users rocking the iPhone 13 weren’t able to unlock their devices with an Apple Watch while wearing a mask.

If you are an iPhone 13 series user and want the functionality back, you may consider registering for Apple Beta Program and installing Beta 2 of iOS 15.1 right away.

Safari on iPad mini 6 now loads webpages with the iPad mobile user agent for improved text legibility.

Keep in mind that you will also need WatchOS 8.1 beta 1 through the Apple Beta Software Program to be installed on your Apple Watch to enjoy this feature.

Beta users can head over to Settings > General > Software Update to check for updates.
