The iPhone 13 isn’t even out yet and voila, we are already getting to see the iPhone 14 of 2022 leak in all its glory. Yes, one year in advance! Renowned tipster Jon Prosser from FrontPageTech released a video showcasing the design of the iPhone 14 ahead of Apple‘s California streaming event.

According to Prosser, he claims to have witnessed the real-life pictures and schematics from an unnamed source of the iPhone 14 Pro Max without a camera bump due to a thicker design. To better protect his source, he in collaboration with designer Ian Zelbo conceptualized the iPhone 14 Pro Max renders based on his observations. And boy, does the phone look sweet!

iphone 14 pro max design leaks, thanks to jon prosser and ian zelbo iphone 14 pro max render is here iphone 4 design to make a comeback in the form of iPhone 14

As you can see, the design is bringing back the benchmark in smartphone design i.e the iPhone 4 is making a modern comeback in the form of the iPhone 14 in 2022. With that said, remember the modern iteration of the iPhone 4 version from LetsGoDigital we showed months ago?

Anyways, moving on, here, the squared-off edges along with the round volume button are back in form. The camera bump will be gone for good because of a thicker design and the use of titanium for the mid-frame instead of stainless steel.

Prosser expects an increase in battery capacity too. Speaking of which, the back glass panel sits on top of the frame again like on the iPhone 4. Going towards the bottom, the lightning port is still intact flanked by a speaker grille that looks like the one on the iPhone 4.

hole-punch display expected on the iPhone 14 pro max iphone 14 pro max to get rid of the notch and opt for a hole-punch display

Finally, let’s get to the focal point, the screen. The display will be of the punch-hole variety with the notch being phased out and the Face ID system being seated under the display. That’s all, let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy your day!

Finally that damn ugly notch is going away. Iphones are really good, but to me they still kinda looks like the most expensive fidget spinner

Notch going away is a good thing and equally good is the notch too because of the secure Face ID system used for biometric authentication. “Most expensive fidget spinner” 😛
